This curriculum in Machine Drafting and Design is intended for persons who desire to become semi-professional technicians qualified for immediate employment in the engineering activities of drafting, layout, design, product and materials evaluation, and related activities. The technical components of the program prepare the graduate for jobs such as design draftsperson, designer, research assistant or engineering assistant. Students will gain on-the-job experience through summer session internships at area industries.
