Pipe Welder Specialist
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Pipe Welder Specialist certificate is an approved program for Sandburg; however, we are not enrolling new students while we review program updates to offer the best educational opportunities for our students. The American Welding Society Level 1 certificate may be of interest to you. Please contact the Welcome Center at 309.345.3500 or welcomecenter@sandburg.edu or your advisor for more information.
The Pipe Welder Specialist certificate program is designed to provide students a hands-on specialty welding certificate that emphasizes training and the mastery of welding techniques in pipe welding. Students will specialize in ARC and TIG welding and build skill proficiencies aligned with the American Welding Society Level II Welder Standards.
