Academic Computer Center and Other Computer Labs An Academic Computer Center and various other labs are provided for currently enrolled CSC students and staff.
The Academic Computer Center is composed of a microcomputer lab, a microcomputer classroom (both using IBM/IBM-compatible microcomputers) and an IBM AS/400 Mid Range computer lab. The Academic Skills Center provides a lab containing various Apple Macintosh computers. Computers are provided in both the Academic Computing Center and the Macintosh Labs for students to complete work for specific computer-related classes and to complete assignments for other classes where a computer would be useful, such as preparing term papers and other documents. CSC staff members, student lab assistants and student tutors are available to assist with the use of the services provided in both the Academic Computer Center and the Macintosh Labs.
There are also computers and computer labs dedicated for use by students pursuing a curriculum involving computer-aided design and drafting, nursing, radiologic technology and adult basic education.
