Who plans campus activities?

  • The Student Activities Committee is a part of the Student Government Association
  • These students work with the Coordinator of Student Life to plan campus events.
  • The Student Activities Committee manages a budget of $25,000 per year for activities and events.

Clubs and Organizations:

Clubs provide an opportunity to meet new friends, share common interests and plan activities

  • There are over 25 active clubs and organizations at CSC
  • Some are affiliated with an academic program, like nursing or child care
  • Others reflect students' extracurricular interests like chess or student government
