Carl Sandburg College is seeking a full-time tenure track faculty member to teach Electrical Control Technology and Industrial Technology AAS programs.  Minimum of 2000 hours of verifiable related work experience required, related Associates Degree with prior teaching experience preferred.  Primary assignment will be to provide instruction in electrical control courses with a manufacturing and process control emphasis, including: PLC's, AC/DC drives, digital electronics, hydraulics & pneumatics, data acquisition, automation systems, safety, troubleshooting and process control.  The ideal candidate will also be able to teach Industrial Technology courses including various Drafting/CAD and Machine Tool courses.  Salary commensurate with education and experience with a range of $30,010 – 47,400.  Tentative start date of July 1, 2008.
