There are many choices when it comes to Internet search engines, but here are the top choices according to SearchEngineWatch.com:

When using internet sites as sources in a research paper you need to consider four basic points.

    They are:
    (1) source of the information
    (2) credibility of the information
    (3) content accuracy and objectivity and balance of treatment of the information
    (4) quality control of the content.

Another issue is how to cite sources that are on the internet. Always consult with your instructor on their preferences of citations.
