New Student Orientation
A time to learn more about CSC and how to have a successful experience. Held the first week before classes.
Welcome Back Week
Stop by the Crist Center all week to grab your Student Handbook and free treat for the day, such as donuts, banana's, cookies, granola bars and popcorn. We will have sign-up's for Student Organizations and information on upcoming Student Life Events.
Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is a back-to-school celebration held on the 2nd Wednesday of classes each fall. It is a time to come out and meet the Carl Sandburg family, celebrate the start of the school year, and have fun! Each year we have free lunch, outdoor games, prizes, interactive activities, music, and great memories to be made. Student Organizations and Services are out sharing with the students all the fabulous services and events that Carl Sandburg has to offer throughout the year. Will you See yourself at the Fall Festival next year?
Student Government Elections
October Bash
October Bash is a chance to come out and celebrate the return of the chilly weather with some fun fall activities. We have free food, fund raising opportunities for Student Organizations, games with prizes, DJ provided music, and much more. More details to come. See you at October Bash!
Fall Sports Week
The 3rd week in October spotlights our Fall Sports Programs with various activities throughout the week. With announcing the Fall Sports Teams at lunch on Tuesday, to Pack the Place at Wednesday's Volleyball game.
Halloween Week
Get ready for Halloween through a campus wide costume contest and giveaways throughout the week in the Crist Student Center.
Veterans Day
November 11th yearly. A celebration of our CSC Veteran's, with a meet and greet with Veteran's in the Crist Center during lunch.
International Education Week
International Education Week is celebrated during the third week of November. The purpose of International Education Week is to celebrate various cultures around the world, international education, and international exchanges of both faculty and students. Past events have included free international food, information tables (Study Abroad, Spanish classes, Culture Club, etc.), speakers, cultural activities, international displays and more. Sandburg Days
The
Sandburg Days Festival honors Galesburg-born, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and Lincoln biographer, Carl Sandburg, and his family by celebrating with the community through educational and recreational activities. Held the last week in April on CSC's Galesburg Campus.
SpringFest
Held each April to celebrate the end of the school year with Student Organizations tables, info booths, games, prizes, DJ, free food, and much more!
