Sandburg Days Festival of the Mind honors Galesburg-born, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and Lincoln biographer, Carl Sandburg, and his family by celebrating with the community through educational and recreational activities.

Part of Sandburg Days includes its partnership with The Big Read by coordinating activities that tie in with the chosen book for the year. Sandburg Days concludes at the end of April by hosting a weekend full of concerts, art, photography, speakers and a poetry slam.
