Coletta Meyer is a native of Quincy, Ill., were she graduated from Quincy Notre Dame. After high school she continued her education earning a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Masters in Health Science from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Coletta also holds a Group Exercise Instructor Certification and Personal Fitness Trainer from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She has given eight years to her country in the U.S. Army Reserves and carried the title of Sergeant Meyer. In 2003 she spent a year overseas in Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After her time in the military, she relocated to Galesburg where she married and had two little girls. Her passion for fitness is what brought her to Carl Sandburg College as the Supervisor of the Fitness Center.
Ryan Twaddle
Assistant Fitness Supervisor
Ryan Twaddle is a native of Macomb, Ill., where he lettered in both basketball and baseball in high school. After high school, Ryan continued his academic and athletic careers at Carl Sandburg College. He earned two letters in basketball and two letters in baseball while attending CSC. Ryan currently lives in Galesburg, Ill., and is a graduate from Western Illinois University. In addition to serving as the fitness center assistant, Ryan also serves as the head men's basketball coach at Carl Sandburg College.
June Ziegler
Yoga Instructor
June Ziegler has been teaching for eight years and has achieved YogaFit® Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Yoga for Seniors and Yoga Butt Certifications. June has classes at Carl Sandburg College and United Methodist Church in Galesburg. She lives in Galesburg with her husband Gordon of 52 years and they have two children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. June believes yoga will help anyone recover from any illness faster and gain more strength, stability and peace of mind. Joan Wilson

Joan Wilson is a graduate of Bradley University and has a bachelor of science degree in special education. She also holds personal training certificates from the YMCA and from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She is also a personal trainer, cycling, and Pilates instructor at the Knox County YMCA. With her experience, she can help others identify their goals and support them as they grow and develop their potential to achieve the goals. Through her enthusiasm for life, she is able to help others find motivation.
XiaQi Wu
Tai Chi Instructor
XiaoQi Wu grew up in China and was trained as a radiologist at the Tianjin University of Science and Technology; included in her training were courses in traditional medicine. She received additional training in massage therapy after immigrating to the United States. She and her husband have one daughter. XiaoQi is the owner of Eastern Therapeutic Massage. Having learned Tai Chi in school in China, she has been practicing it for most of her life.
Susan Cunningham
Laughter Yoga Instructor
Susan Cunningham is a Certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and has studied over 100 dietary theories. She is a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader from the Kataria School of Laughter working with many age groups and health levels. She has a BA in Organizational Management and has experience working with organizations and individuals as the project manager, program development and counseling.
Candas Johnson
Zumba Instructor
Candas is our Certified Instructor for Zumba Basic and Zumba Toning. She has been teaching since February of 2010 and loves it. Candy says every class feels like a party! She encourages you to join the fun. You don't have to know how to dance, just move your body and follow her lead.
