Associate Degree Nursing Club
Art ClubMake art, go places, eat pizza
Art Club is open to all interested students, regardless of major or “talent”. We fundraise for club activities (including trips and art shows), we volunteer in the community and we organize various fun activities thorough out the year (Zombie Day, for example). First and third Thursdays at 3:30 in Room F100. Oh, and we usually have pizza.
Criminal Justice Organization
CJO is designed to prepare CJ students for employment within public sector (policing/corrections). Focuses on student leadership, pre-employment activities (fitness based), and group informational tours. We meet for weekly workouts and monthly meetings the 3rd Wednesday 12-1pm.
Culture ClubThe purpose of Cultuer Club is to promote diversity and explore other cultures by providing informational programs and hosting international activities on campus. Such activities may include the promotion of international holidays around the world, an international film night, an international cooking lesson, an international fashion show or poetry reading, or other activities decided upon by the club members. Ignite Sandburg
Ignite Sandburg is a Christian community where you are able to connect and grow in your walk with Christ, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey. You will find our gatherings to be very laid back and relaxed, as we come together to build relationship, discuss how biblical issues impact our lives today, spend some time praying for each other and worshiping God. Drama Club:
Delta Psi OmegaDrama Club exists to support theatre productions on campus, to provide theatre viewing activities for students, and to provide a community where students can work on creative projects in support of our campus theatre productions.

The Gay-Straight Alliance group is here to connect students for a common purpose of educating the campus and local community on the LGBT community.

Do you like to bowl? Wanna connect with fellow students at Carl Sandburg College and give back to the local community? Lucky Strikes aims to give back while having fun through bowling.
Major League Gaming Guild
The MLG Guild is a group of students who have a general interest in gaming. We play games such as Dungeons and Dragons and other role playing games. We gather every Monday and Wednesday from 2-7pm room B07. Interested but have never played? Not a problem, we train as well!
Phi Theta Kappa
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold: (1) recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and (2) provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
Real Talk Poetry Club
Real Talk Poetry Club is an exciting new club here at CSC. We meet in the Tutoring Center, room B-72 on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. We are looking for members, and we are trying to find direction. Our mission is to open the doors of poetry to all people in hopes that they will openly express themselves poetically. We are committed to promote poetic literacy and to promote creativity through spoken and written word as well as through performance--such as slam poetry. The club is open to all students who are interested in learning, creating, writing, and performing original poetry.
Student American Dental Hygiene Association
SADHA's purpose is to cultivate, promote and sustain the art and science of dental hygiene, to represent and safeguard the common interest of the members of the dental hygiene profession, and contribute toward the improvement of the oral health of the public. Students eligible are those students currently enrolled in the Carl Sandburg College Dental Hygiene program.
Sandburg Environment Awareness ClubSEAC is Sandburg Environmental Awareness Club. Members do not have to be science majors or enrolled in science classes, just have an interest in environmental awareness. Past activities have included Lake Storey Cleanup; environmental info booths on campus, sponsoring Chad Pregracke (founder of Living Lands & Waters) as a campus speaker; trips to Wildlife Prairie State Park, Shedd Aquarium, and Field Museum of Natural History; cookouts; acorn collection for wetland restoration; promotion of reusable mugs sold through campus bookstore; hiking trips; and prairie burns/maintenance. Meetings are usually held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 12:15 in the C building.
Social & Behavioral Sciences Club
The Social & Behavioral Sciences Club is a group of students interested in social awareness. The club meets often to connect and see about bringing in guest speakers and to put on social awareness events.
Students In Free Enterprise: SIFE
SIFE is a student organization where students can partner with businesses to become leaders in their field of study and improve the world for all.
Veterans Club
The purpose of the Veterans club is to provide education and outreach for Student Veterans and Military Personnel here at Carl Sandburg College. It will offer a support system for student veterans and military personnel and promote awareness of veteran issues.
