The Coordinator of Career Resources provides leadership and coordination of college career resource projects and activities.
Responsibilities include communicating with students, faculty and business / industry partners to determine internship, externship or employment needs and maintain a current listing of those needs; providing, arranging, and marketing Employability Skills programs, workshops and services; researching needs of industry / business partners in the College district; and networking with outside employment sources in the business community to facilitate employment of CSC students, including leadership of the annual career and employment fair.
Bachelor's degree, 120 semester hours, or specialized related training with 4 years related experience required. Strong management, organizational and time-management skills, excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills required. Experience in employability skills required. Working knowledge of and ability to assist with computer systems and software required, including ability to navigate employer- specific software. Valid driver's license required.

Weekend Security/Custodial-3rd shift
Physical Plant Level 1-starting salary range $19,300-$20,050
Carl Sandburg College is accepting applications for a full-time weekend security/custodial position. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license required. Responsibilities include but not limited to, monitoring traffic and parking lots, issuing tickets for violations, patrolling campus buildings, preparing reports, responding to emergency calls and monitoring environmental conditions. Custodial responsibilities include operation of cleaning equipment and maintaining cleanliness of college facilities. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing arduous work. This position requires a background check as a pre-employment qualifier. Salary range is $19,300-$20,050 annually and will be commensurate with experience.
