You must have an active account with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) before
starting the program. Students may use either a Windows PC or Apple Macintosh
computer for their online studies. The following are the minimum computer

Pentium IV processor or higher, Core processor recommended.
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher.
1024 Megabytes of RAM (or higher)
56k Dialup (Broadband recommended) internet connection through an account on an ISP (Internet Service Provider).
Flash Storage/CD-ROM/Hard Drive
Full Duplex Sound card with speakers/headphones and microphone
1024x768 or higher display resolution, thousands of colors.
Macintosh
G5 processor or higher, Intel processor recommended.
Mac OS X 10.4 or higher operating system, Mac OS X 10.5 Recommended

Supported versions are Netscape 4.76 and 6.2.x, Microsoft Internet Explorer
7.0 or newer, or Safari 3.0 or newer; unsupported versions are Netscape 6.0
and 6.1, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and 5.5 service pack 1, and Safari
1.x to 1.3.x.
Suggested: Check with course instructor for specific software requirements,
particularly BCT Lab and CIS courses. However for most courses Microsoft
Office 2007 (or 2011) or Microsoft Office 20011:Mac Edition is suggested.
If you use other "office" type programs, please note that some professors may
require you to convert your files to a MS-Office compatible format or Rich
Text Format (.RTF) for online submission.
