Carl Sandburg College invites both U.S. and international students to apply for admission. Online applications are available here as well as information on how to register for classes, view your grades, order transcripts, apply for Selective Admission programs such as Allied Health programs and more.
Admission to Carl Sandburg College is open to anyone who is a graduate of an accredited high school, has a GED, or is at least 18 years of age and able to benefit from college-level instruction. NOTE: Being accepted to Carl Sandburg College does not ensure your admission into a particular academic program or your enrollment in a particular course.
Instructions for completing Carl Sandburg College Application for Admission
Complete and submit the application (at link on the left side of your screen) if:
- You have never attended Carl Sandburg College (age 16 or older).
- You are attending Carl Sandburg College as a Continuing Education student and you now want to obtain a degree.
DO NOT use the application if you have applied to Carl Sandburg College within the last year and:
- You did not attend. Please contact the Admissions & Records Office at 309-341-5237.
- You want to change your major (academic program). Please contact the Admissions & Records Office at 309-341-5237.
- You want to apply for admission to an Allied Health program, e.g.
nursing, dental hygiene, radiologic technology, etc. Special
applications are required for such programs.
