Enrolling as a Summer Student?
  1. Complete the CSC Application for Admission by clicking Apply Now.
  2. Request an official high school transcript indicating date of graduation, class rank and courses completed, or an official GED score report be sent to the Admissions and Records Office.  Official transcripts must be sent directly from each post-secondary institution attended, including transcripts from colleges from which courses were taken while enrolled in high school.  The mailing address is Carl Sandburg College, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd., Galesburg, IL 61401.

  4. U.S. military veterans should submit a DD214 form and verification of any courses or service schools completed.  For more information about Veterans Services, please contact (309) 341-5283. 
  5. If desired, apply for financial aid. Information is available from the Financial Aid Office (309) 341-5283.  Complete the FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov.  For information about the FACTS Tuition Payment Plan visit www.sandburg.edu.  Follow Financial Aid & Scholarships to Paying Your Bill, then to the Deferred Payment link for specific information.
 
NOTE:  In addition to the above steps, students from other colleges who are enrolling in a Math or English course must:
  • Schedule an appointment to meet with a counselor to register for classes.
  • Provide a college transcript or grade report (at the time of your advising appointment) which documents enrollment in previous Math or English coursework.  Placement tests results which provide Math and English recommendations from a previously attended institution are also acceptable.  OR...
  • Complete the COMPASS placement exam prior to your advising appointment. Call (309) 341-5323 to set up an appointment. OR...
  • Provide a letter from your adviser indicating the specific course required by your home school.
