Carl Sandburg College is committed to helping our students complete their college education. The college provides over 300 scholarships annually and assists students in receiving federal, state and institutional financial aid to help them meet their educational costs.

Carl Sandburg College Foundation
Since 1971, over 9,000 students have received financial assistance from the Carl Sandburg College Foundation to attend Carl Sandburg College. The Foundation provides numerous academic, general and financial need scholarships to CSC students. All scholarship awards are based on individual scholarship guidelines. Scholarship recipients must have a minimum 2.0 GPA in order to apply for a scholarship but higher GPA standards are required for some scholarships. The majority of scholarships require that the recipient also be a full-time student. Applications are due by March 1 for the year.

Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Office assists students in applying for federal, state, and institutional funds to help them meet their educational costs. Most of the funding is based on the family's financial situation; therefore, the student must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility.
