GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team clinched the Region IV Champions Division title with an 8-2 victory over Richard J. Daley on Saturday afternoon at Kleine Equipment Field.

KANKAKEE—Freshmen Lawson Crider and Brandyn Murray teamed up on both goals for the Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team in Saturday’s 2-1 Region IV Champions Division victory at Kankakee.

ROCK ISLAND—Carl Sandburg College sophomore women’s cross country runner Haley Bolliger broke the school record for a 6-kilometer race during Friday’s Brissman-Lundeen Invitational a Saukie Golf Course.

 

Bolliger, who also holds the women’s 5K school record, finished the race in 24 minutes, 12.2 seconds to break the previous record of 24:52 set by Jessica Hanson in 2007. Bolliger placed 54th out of 425 runners overall.
