INA—Carl Sandburg College women’s cross country runner Haley Bolliger shattered the school record at the NJCAA Division I national meet Saturday at Rend Lake College.

 

Bolliger, a freshman from Tremont, finished the 5-kilometer race in 19 minutes, 47.3 seconds to place 42nd out of 295 runners. Bolliger’s time broke the previous record of 20:04 set by Jessica Hanson at the 2007 national meet, which took place on the same course.

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College officials have signed a reverse transfer agreement with Western Illinois University to allow the transfer of credits between the two schools.
