GALESBURG — Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball players Julia Isenhour (Clinton, Iowa/Prince of Peace) and McKenna Weaver (Bartonville, Ill./Limestone) have been named to the All-Arrowhead Conference second team and All-Region IV Division II District L second team for their outstanding play this season.

GALESBURG — Morgan Newton of Erie High School has signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College women’s golf team.
 

Newton improved her nine-hole average each of the past three seasons, posting a 46.0 average as a senior last fall. She helped the Cardinals advanced to sectionals the past two seasons, and she finished third overall at the Class A Galena Regional as a senior.

GALESBURG — Ethan Williamson of Canton High School and Colin Price of Illini Central High School have signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College men’s golf team.
 

Price’s career-low while with the Cougars was 81, and he was a two-time Class 1A sectional qualifier in his high school career. Williamson was a Class 2A qualifier this past fall during his senior season with the Little Giants.
