GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College baseball game scheduled for today against Southeastern Iowa at the William “Bill” Hungate Baseball/Softball Complex has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. April 25.
Also, the Sandburg softball games scheduled for today at John Wood and March 22 at Elgin have been postponed. Makeup dates for both have yet to be announced.

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College hired three employees following approval by the Board of Trustees at its regular monthly meeting held in February. GALESBURG—Stark County High School senior Danielle Kenney has signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College women’s golf and softball teams.
An outfielder for the Rebels’ softball team, Kenney earned first-team all-Lincoln Trail Conference honors as a junior. The 5-foot-2 Kenney qualified last fall for the girls golf Class 1A state tournament, tying for 54th at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur.

GALESBURG—Limestone High School senior Megan Hobson has signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College softball team.
Hobson, a 5-foot pitcher, went 7-9 with a 3.51 ERA in the circle for the Rockets as a junior. She struck out 45 and walked 25 in 91 2/3 innings and helped lead Limestone to a 22-17 record and Class 3A regional title, the Rockets’ first since 2009.
