CARTHAGE—Actor Richard Garey combines his passion as an actor, skill as a storyteller and expertise as a researcher and writer to bring the role of Mark Twain and Twain’s writings to life in “Mark Twain on Slavery” at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Sandburg Auditorium, 1160 Buchanan St., Carthage, in observance of Black History Month.
