Awards and Achievements

The Illinois Community College Trustees Association´s Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizes the many success stories of Illinois Community College graduates. Award criteria: outstanding success and distinction in his/her field; humanitarian service that has proven greatly beneficial to society; continued interest in and support of education and community colleges; completion of a recognized program of instruction at an Illinois community college prior to June 30, 2003.

The Outstanding Young Alumnus Award, established in 2012, recognizes the accomplishments of a recent Carl Sandburg College graduate who has proven success in the short time since they have become a Sandburg Alumnus.
