Membership
Membership in the CSCAA is open to (faculty and classified staff) of
CSC, employees (past and present) who are eligible for SURS benefits,
currently paying into SURS, or are receiving SURS benefits, and spouses
or surviving spouses of annuitants.
Dues
$30 per year, payable by check, SURS dues deduction, or CSC payroll deduction
Purpose
The purpose of the Carl Sandburg College Annuitants Association is to:
- promote the individual and collective interests and welfare of CSC annuitants and their survivors;
- promote discussions with and service to the College;
- improve communications between the College and its retirees;
- promote social events for its members; Coffee Dates and Annual Meeting
- promote discussion and participation with other annuitant organizations in the State of Illinois (www.suaa.org);
- actively pursue communication with legislators on issues relative to annuitants' concerns
