Carl Sandburg College has had a golf program on and off since 1969. In 2005, Sandburg successfully revived the program. Since then, the program has claimed the Chargers' only Arrowhead Conference title as well as three trips as a team to the NJCAA Division II national tournament in the last four years. Home meets are held at Lake Bracken Country Club, located just south of Galesburg.
