Carl Sandburg College has had a golf program on and off since 1969. In 2005, Sandburg successfully revived the program. Since then, the Chargers have won the program's lone Arrowhead Conference championship and have made three trips as a team to the NJCAA Division II national tournament. Home meets are held at Lake Bracken Country Club, located just south of Galesburg.
