Athletic Grants Carl Sandburg College
has 90 Athletic Grants available to student-athletes.
Athletic Grants are distributed annually at the
recommendation of the athletic director. The
recruiting of in-district students is the expressed
preference of the Carl Sandburg College district.
A minimum of 70 percent of Athletic Grants are
to be awarded to students who reside within the
Arrowhead Conference. Athletic Grant applications
are available from each specific sport coach or by
calling (309) 341-5225. There are 9.5 grants for
Men's Basketball; 9.5 grants for Women's
Basketball; 4 grants for Men's Cross Country;
4 grants for Women's Cross Country; 12 for
Baseball; 12 for Softball; 5 grants for Men's Golf;
5 grants for Women's Golf; 11 grants for Men's
Soccer; 11 grants for Women's Soccer and 7 grants
for Volleyball.
