Business & Community Services of Carl Sandburg College offer general interest programming to a wide variety of individuals and businesses, both on-campus and off-campus. There are short-term classes, seminars and workshops that provide skill enhancement for those seeking upgrades in employment or continuing education for specific professions. The department strives to provide opportunities for individual growth on a professional as well as personal level. There are learning opportunities for everyone, regardless of age. Some programs are specifically designed for youth and some specifically for the mature, lifelong learner. The goal of business and community education is to act as a learning resource for individuals, organizations, agencies and businesses. Responsive programming is developed to build a more effective, dynamic community.
