Introduction to Watercolor

April 26, 2017
06:00 PM - 08:00 PM
Corporate Leisure
This class is designed for beginning watercolorists who have never picked up a brush, intermediates who have had some experience, or even advanced students who need a little motivation. All can work together, encourage, and learn from one another. The goals are personal expression and satisfaction, with no intent of students creating masterpieces. The student will be able to look at everyday scenes with a new perspective, noticing shades of color, details, shadows, etc., applying them to their work, and creating paintings with personal expression. The sessions will emphasize working from still life and photos, but if weather permits, a landscape outdoors will be the last subject during class time. The final class will include discussions of the four weeks' worth of work.
