Springfield Illinois Day Trip

In celebration of the Illinois’ Bicentennial, we will travel to our capitol, Springfield. The day begins with a 9:15 a.m. tour of the Dana Thomas House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1902. Afterwards, we will explore the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. This museum brings life to Abraham Lincoln’s story through exhibits, artifacts, and interactive displays. We will eat lunch at a Springfield restaurant favorite before departing. Breakfast items  provided at 6:30 a.m. Lunch and  shopping expenses are on your own. Registration required by Monday, October 29. No cancellations past 10/29/18; however, a substitute can attend.
