Managing Stress and Anxiety – Wellness Series
Come learn how stress affects you and leave with the tools to manage this hard-wired response, so you can function and perform at your best! Attend one or all sessions.
April 15: Performance Anxiety: Your stress response is hard-wired, but you can learn how to manage the stress and anxiety that comes before tests, sporting events, theatre performances, job interviews, etc. Be your best self for all of the wonderful opportunities that you have to showcase your talents!
April 22: Stress Response Management: Are you overloaded with school, work, and your home life? You can't stop stress from being a part of your life, but you can learn how to manage your stress and anxiety to feel more balanced and less reactive to your environment!
April 29: Compassion Fatigue: Are you planning to work with the public, if so, you are at risk for compassion fatigue and burn out! Empathy and compassion are strong motivators to help others and most people in healthcare, education, and social work have plenty of it--but you are also the most likely to be exposed to trauma transfer from patients, students, and clients. Be prepared to manage your stress response and implement self-care to be at your best!
