GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College will host campus visit days from 9-11:30 a.m. Oct. 14 and Nov. 11 at the Main Campus in Galesburg, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd. The College invites prospective students to take a campus tour, learn about career and transfer programs and explore what Sandburg has to offer.
The Nov. 11 event also will be an open house for those interested in joining one of Sandburg’s athletic programs. Students can meet with coaches and hear from current student-athletes about what it’s like to be a Charger.
A member of the NJCAA, Sandburg fields intercollegiate athletic teams in baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s cross country, women’s cross country, men’s golf, women’s golf, men’s soccer, softball and volleyball. The Chargers have made 13 national tournament team appearances and won 27 Arrowhead Conference titles. Thirty-seven Sandburg student-athletes received academic all-conference honors during the 2012-2013 season.
