Carl Sandburg College Wins 3 NCMPR District Medallion Awards

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College won three National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District 3 Medallion Awards during the organization’s conference in Chicago.
 

Sandburg placed first in the Logo Design category for its new Charger logo, which was unveiled last spring and serves as the primary logo for its athletic teams. The College placed second in the Website category for www.sandburg.edu, which launched a new design last July and provides prospective students, current students, alumni and the general public information about the College, including the latest news, events, program information and an online application. Sandburg also placed second in Outdoor Advertising for its “Start Here, Finish There” billboard campaign featuring several alumni from the College.
 

Sandburg was judged against other schools in NCMPR District 3, which includes community colleges of all enrollment sizes from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Ontario.
