The Carl Sandburg College Main Campus is located in Galesburg, Illinois, with a faculty of 57 full-time and 180 part-time instructors serving 3,000 students at three permanent locations. The Branch Campus is located in Carthage, Illinois, and The Extension Center is located in Bushnell, Illinois.

Administration Positions

Director of Business Services

Director Level I-starting salary range is $44,710-$52,150

Carl Sandburg College is seeking a Director of Business Services to provide leadership to Business Services, Purchasing, Physical Plant, and Auxiliary Services of the College district. Starting salary range is $44,710 - $52,150 commensurate with experience and education. Duties include serving as the district’s Purchasing Agent,  providing leadership to Auxiliary Operations of the College,  supervising the maintenance and operation employees, preparing ICCB reports, project management of capital projects, and appropriate insurance coverage.  Additional responsibilities are support for CFO responsibilities including the budget.  Bachelor’s Degree required, with a commitment to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam within two years.  Project management and purchasing experienced preferred. Strong interpersonal and communications skills required. Valid driver’s license required. Associate Dean of Nursing/Nursing Faculty

Administrative Assistant to Dean of Extension Services

Clerical Level II-starting salary range is $18,840-$19,940

Carl Sandburg College is accepting applications for a full-time, benefitted Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Extension Services at the Branch Campus in Carthage, IL. Starting salary range is $18,840 to $19,940 and is commensurate with education and experience.  Primary responsibilities include main office registration and business support, instructional support functions, and clerical and operational support for the CSC Auditorium.
