Sandburg to Hold Reception Feb. 8 for Ankeney Photo Show

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College will hold an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 8 in the Building D Lobby on the Main Campus in Galesburg, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd., for instructor Rich Ankeney’s “Land and Sea” photography show. Eighteen of Ankeney’s works will be on display from Feb. 1 to March 11 in the Main Lobby Gallery.
 

Ankeney studied fine arts at Quincy College and is a part-time instructor of art and photography at Sandburg. He also co-founded the Galesburg Camera Club, of which he was a past president, and writes a blog, “The Focus Ring,” for the Galesburg Register-Mail, in which he discusses various topics and perspectives on the subjects of art and photography.
