CSC-TV Channel 22's mission is to provide appropriate, accessible, comprehensive educational programming for the residents within its viewing area —Galesburg, East Galesburg and Knoxville—and to serve as a communication vehicle for educational, cultural and community events.
CSC-TV Channel 22 shows the following programs:
Classic Arts Showcase includes video samplings of animation, architectural art, ballet, chamber and choral music, dance, folk art, museum art, musical theater, opera, orchestral, recital, solo instrumental, solo vocal, and theatrical performances, as well as classic film and archival documentaries. Classic Arts Showcase is considered "Classic MTV."
Illinois Channel, modeled after C-SPAN, provides a look at key governmental events throughout the state of Illinois.
KCHD are videos produced by the Knox County Health Department which are intended to educate the CSC-TV Channel 22 viewers on various health issues.
Apples Video Magazine Programs are designed specifically around early childhood issues and provide opportunities to learn about current issues and programmatic strategies in the early education and care of young children.
GED Connection is a series of programs designed to help individuals sharpen their writing, reading, social studies, science, and mathematics skills so they can successfully pass the GED test.
Bulletin Board is a slide show of announcements, upcoming classes, local programs and activities from the CSC community and the Knox County Health Department.
CSC Sports are programs which provide our viewers with a glimpse of the happenings of the CSC athletic programs. |
