Dedicated, visionary higher education professional with more than 22 years experience as an educator and administrator with the last 14 years at the senior administrative level.  A leader at the national level serving on the Board of Directors for AACC, the 21st Century Implementation Team for Accountability, as well as serving as the Chair of the AACC Leadership and Professional Development Commission.  A leader at the state level serving on the leadership team for the Illinois Council of Community College Presidents.  Career highlights include Carl Sandburg College is ranked #1 in the Country for Technology for three consecutive years and ranked in the top 10 for ten years.  The College also received the largest private gift in its history this past year.  A keen focus on student persistence, retention, and completion rates has yielded annual increases and put the College well above national averages.  Experienced in the areas of finance, fundraising, marketing, grant writing, research, human resources, negotiations, and academic affairs.
