GALESBURG—Thirty-seven Carl Sandburg College student-athletes from nine different sports — including six student-athletes who participated in multiple sports — earned academic All-Arrowhead Conference honors...
Excellence, Collaboration, Integrity, Respect.

Carl Sandburg College is committed to helping our students complete their college education. The College provides more than 300 scholarships annually and assists students in receiving federal, state and institutional financial aid to help them meet their educational costs.
Sandburg has a mandatory attendance policy for all classes. Nonattendance during the first four days of the semester/class will result in the class being dropped from your schedule. For more information call Phil Jennings, retention specialist, at 309.341.5483.
Since 1971, more than 9,000 students have received financial assistance from the Carl Sandburg College Foundation to attend Carl Sandburg College. The Foundation provides numerous academic, general and financial-need scholarships to Sandburg students. All scholarship awards are based on individual scholarship guidelines. Scholarship recipients must have a minimum 2.0 GPA in order to apply for a scholarship, but higher GPA standards are required for some scholarships. The majority of scholarships require that the recipient also be a full-time student. Applications are due by March 1 for the year.
The Carl Sandburg College Foundation scholarship application process is paperless and completely online. Paper applications will no longer be accepted unless a special application is required per scholarship requirements. To access the scholarship application website, click on the link below.
STARS Scholarship Application process is open from December 1st until March 1st each academic year, allowing students to apply for scholarships to be awarded the Fall of the following academic year. All completed scholarship applications must be submitted by March 1st. Visit http://stars.sandburg.edu/stars to complete scholarship applications.
For further information concerning Sandburg Foundation Scholarships, see the additional pages at the left or contact the Foundation Office at 309.341.5349 or by e-mail.
The Financial Aid Office assists students in applying for federal, state and institutional funds to help them meet their educational costs. Most of the funding is based on the family's financial situation; therefore, the student must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility.
The Financial Aid Office is not allowed to discuss financial aid information with anyone other than you, the student. If you want the Financial Aid Office staff to be able to discuss your financial aid information with your parent(s), spouse or any other person(s), please complete the Information Release Form.
