Sandburg Offers Cosmetology Continuing Education Event May 1

Carl Sandburg College’s Corporate and Leisure College is offering a one-day continuing education event for licensed cosmetologists.

This course from Wella Professionals is worth eight continuing education credit hours and will take place from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. May 1 at the Sandburg Annex, 209 E. Main St., in downtown Galesburg. The event costs $80 and includes lunch.

The course is led by Jessica Caughron, a salon owner who has worked in the beauty industry for more than 15 years. Registered participants will learn about new Illinois laws, the numbering system, all color lines, Blondor, new freelights and an overview on new spring trends.
