Chargers’ Boyer Competes at XC Nationals

Carl Sandburg College women’s cross country runner Ashlyn Boyer (Lincoln, Ill./Lincoln) wrapped up her freshman season by competing in the NJCAA Division I Championship on Saturday at Lakeside Golf Course.
Boyer crossed the finish line of the 5-kilometer course in 23 minutes, 10.3 seconds good for 263rd in the field. Her time was :16 off her pace at the Region IV championships, where she finished 16th.
