Chargers Drop Road Contest at Waubonsee

SUGAR GROVE, IL

The Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball team went on the road and dropped a 67-39 decision Friday at Waubonsee.

Willow Porter (Wyoming, Ill./Stark County) was the lone member of the Chargers (1-3) to reach double figures, with 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. She also grabbed seven rebounds, tying Morgan Kirby (Fairmount, Ill./Salt Fork) for the team lead. Madison Lowe (Dunlap, Ill./Dunlap) added eight points for the Chargers.

Sandburg’s next contest is 1 p.m. Nov. 25 at Bryant & Stratton (Wis.).
