GALESBURG — The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team jumped back into the top 10 after moving up two spots to No. 10 in this week’s NJCAA Division II rankings, released Monday.
Sandburg (7-1 overall, 4-1 Region IV) rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 6-1 victory Thursday against Bryant & Stratton to close out a string of six consecutive home games.
The Chargers received 51 points in this week’s voting. They’ve been ranked in all six polls this season and in eight in a row dating back to last spring. Sandburg has been ranked as high as No. 8 this season.
The Chargers play at Richard J. Daley in a Region IV matchup at 4 p.m. this afternoon.
