Sandburg announces 2024 summer session graduates

The Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball team suffered an 86-43 setback against Southeastern on Saturday afternoon at John M. Lewis Gymnasium.

KEY MOMENT
Sandburg (1-3) led 13-12 with 1:50 left in the first quarter after a pair of free throws from sophomore Kelsi Legge (Galesburg, Ill./Galesburg), but the Blackhawks (4-5) rattled off a 19-0 run to lead 31-13 and never looked back. Southeastern led 46-20 at halftime after outscoring the Chargers 29-7 in the second quarter.

SANDBURG STANDOUT
Sophomore Addison Eger (Mendon, Ill./Unity) was the only Charger to reach double figures, scoring 22 points on 10-for-21 shooting. Eger has scored at least 22 points in each of Sandburg’s first four games, averaging 22.5 per contest.
