Sandburg announces 2024 summer session graduates

GALESBURG — John Wood never trailed in handing the Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball team a 72-48 loss Tuesday night at John M. Lewis Gymnasium.

KEY MOMENT
John Wood held the Chargers (1-9) to just one field goal in the opening nine minutes of the second quarter, extending an 18-13 lead after a period to 33-16. The Blazers (5-7) led 36-30 at halftime.

SANDBURG STANDOUT
Addison Eger (Mendon, Ill./Unity) scored 10 of her team-high 17 points in the fourth quarter for Sandburg. The sophomore guard finished 8 of 16 from the field and led the Chargers with three steals.
