Admissions at Sandburg

Applying to Carl Sandburg College is completely free and enrolling only takes a few easy steps. We encourage all new students to visit campus; scheduling a visit to campus is easy! Simply contact one of our Admissions Recruiters in The Welcome Center at the number below, or go to our Campus Visit page and fill out our Campus Visit Request Form. When visiting campus you will learn about our programs of study, the application process, and go over the many resources available to our students, including financial aid. Tours of the campus are also available. Whether you are in high school, a returning student, or looking to make a career change, we are here to help every step of the way! There is something for everyone at Carl Sandburg College.

Carl Sandburg College recognizes national holidays and the campus will be closed: Martin Luther King Jr. Day,  Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the Friday after Thanksgiving. Additionally, we are closed each year from December 24 - January 1, as well as the Friday before Easter.

Carl Sandburg College believes in providing educational experiences of occupational, preparatory, and continuous nature. Carl Sandburg College offers myriad services to assist students and help them succeed. From advising and tutoring to career development and financial aid, these services — nearly all of which are free — put an emphasis on supporting our students.

Get a head start on earning college credit by taking Dual Credit classes through Carl Sandburg College. Dual Credit classes allow high school students to take courses that count toward both their high school and college credit.
