COVID-19 Advisory

The College will continue to be fully open under the executive order.

  • We encourage the campus community to continue using proper hand hygiene.
  • The usage of the CLEARED4 platform is no longer required for employees, students or visitors. 
  • Enhanced campus cleaning will be maintained according to current guidance.
  • Masks are not required but optional in all indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. 
  • On-campus testing is available to students and employees only. WE WILL NO LONGER BE PROVIDING TESTING FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS. 

Communication to students and employees can be expected on a bi-weekly basis via their college-based email. Please contact the COVID-19 response team if you have any COVID-19-related questions at COVID-19@sandburg.edu or call 309.341.5232.

PREVENTION

The CDC recommends the following preventative actions:

  • Wear a mask
  • Get vaccinated
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. 
  • Monitor your health
  • Stay home when you are sick.
