FEDERAL SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY GRANT - FSEOG

**Award Range:**  Maximum of $4000/year

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is available for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need as demonstrated by the lowest EFC. Priority consideration is given to students who receive the Federal Pell Grant.

 

HOW TO APPLY

You should start by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. You will have to fill out the FAFSA form every year you’re in school in order to stay eligible for federal student aid.

 

PAYING TUITION AND REFUNDS 

  • An estimated payment will show on the students bill following registration. FSEOG is applied to the students account approximately two weeks prior to the tuition deadline. 
  • FSEOG is first applied to the student’s tuition and fees. Excess funds will be disbursed to the student in a refund after attendance is verified.  
  • FSEOG is prorated based on the students enrollment status. Generally students who enroll in less than 12 credits will receive a prorated amount as follows.

SUMMER

  • FSEOG is available for Summer enrollment.  The Financial Aid Office adds Summer term awards in March. The Financial Aid Office selects eligible students and will notify you of your award.
