President feedback forums
The Sandburg board of trustees highly values stakeholder input and encourages participation in open forums, including a community forum open to the public 11 a.m.-noon Oct. 29, 2026, in room E241 to discuss the desired qualities and characteristics for the next president of Sandburg.
If you’re unable to attend a forum, please share your feedback using this survey link. Submit your responses by noon Monday, Nov. 2. After this time, the survey will be closed.

Presidential search committee will have an orientation meeting.

Deadline for applications
Mid–to-late January
Presidential search committee identifies semi-finalists for first-round interviews.
Early February
Presidential search committee interviews semi-final candidates.
Late February/Early March
Final candidates travel to campus to meet with various constituency groups. (Once identified, these dates will be announced.)
Spring/summer 2027
The selected candidate begins presidency at Sandburg.
