Interested in protecting organizations from security threats? This network security certificate may be just the ticket. Managing network security includes preserving information confidentiality, availability and integrity through mitigating risks and preventing cyber attacks.

As a network security professional, you'll perform network risk assessments, implement safeguards to protect data and system integrity, implement and maintain system authentication systems and create perimeter protection systems. Upon successful completion of this program, you can take the CompTIA Security+ certification exams.

This certificate is the third semester of Sandburg's stackable information & communication technology certificates.
