
Women's Volleyball
Carl Sandburg College's volleyball program has been in existence since 1975. The program has won eight Arrowhead Conference championships and has had more than 40 players earn All-Arrowhead Conference honors. Home matches are played in John M. Lewis Gymnasium on the Main Campus in Galesburg.

Head Coach
Todd Winkler
Todd Winkler has been the Carl Sandburg College volleyball coach since 2003. Under Winkler, the Chargers won their first Region IV tournament championship and advanced to their first NJCAA Division II National Championship in 2017, followed by a repeat Region IV title and national tournament trip in 2018. He's also guided Sandburg to runner-up finishes in the Region IV tournament in 2010, 2011 and 2016. Winkler grew up outside of Alexis and went to Alexis High School and Western Illinois University. He also serves as Sandburg's head softball coach. Winkler lives on his family farm just outside of Alexis. He has two daughters, Kayla and Kelsey.
